The Indian Lounge in Burnham’s High Street has increased the total raised so far for the Floating Boathouse Appeal by another £400!

An ‘all you can eat curry night’ was held recently to help raise funds for the appeal. Rasil Mahbub, manager of the popular restaurant said “The night was a big success and we already have plans for another similar evening later on this year.”

The event was eventually attended by a number of crew members who had been called out on an emergency only 90 minutes before being due at the restaurant, again highlighting that the pagers can go off at any time – regardless of what the crew and their families may have planned!
