Burnham RNLI Raise Glasses to Queens Head
By Claire Rawlinson | January 9, 2009
Members of the management and crew of Burnham on Crouch Lifeboat Station presented Landlord Jim Morton with a certificate of appreciation in recognition of the outstanding amount customers of the Queens Head have raised in their RNLI collection box.
Jims ambition was to raise over £1,000 in a year for the local Lifeboat Station and this target was exceeded to reach a fantastic total of £1045.89.
The Queens Head is a regular donor to the Burnham on Crouch Lifeboat and everyone at the station is extremely grateful to Jim and his customers for their overwhelming support.
