Three lucky residents of Burnham on Crouch have won an extra special treat from suppliers to the Royal Household, Fortnum & Masons of Piccadilly.

 Three luxury hampers were generously donated to Burnham on Crouch Lifeboat Station by The Crown Estate, owners of Burnham Yacht Harbour, and were raffled to raise funds for the Floating Boathouse Appeal.

The tickets were on sale during Burnham Week and were drawn at the Prize giving on Saturday 5th September 2009.

The lucky winners were, 1st Hamper N Watkins, 2nd Hamper Tony Allen, 3rd Hamper Yvonne James.

 Burnham Mayor, Mrs Carol Noble drew the tickets, and the total raised for the Floating Boathouse Appeal was £1,339.00
