Join In The Fun At Burnham Carnival!
By Claire Rawlinson | September 24, 2009
Volunteer Lifeboat Crews will be joining in the fun at the annual Carnival on Saturday 26th September.
The day begins at 10:30 at the Clock Tower with the very mischevious and often hilarious antics of the ’999 Races’.
The Police, Ambulance, Fire Service and RNLI Lifeboat crews will tackle each other in an ‘It’s a Knockout’ type competition – come and show your support for your local Emergency Service personnel.
There will be plenty to see and do during the day before the main event – the Grand Illuminated Procession, formerly the longest illuminated procession in Europe.
The Carnival begins at 7:30pm from the Clock Tower – we look forward to seeing you there!
