The Atlantic 75 Lifeboat was called out to reports of a 30ft yacht aground in the region of Havengore Bridge.

When the Lifeboat reached the stricken vessel it was found to be hard aground, with high water having already been and gone.

It was decided to leave the yacht in situ as it was not possible to retrieve it from its position due to the lack of water. The male adult on board was then taken back to Paglesham and left to try & make arrangements to recover the vessel at a later date, if possible.

The Lifeboat then returned to station.
