By Claire Rawlinson | November 15, 2009
Launched 20:25, Rehoused 22:15
The Lifeboat was launched to reports of a vessel which had run aground and was unsure of her position near to Cockleshell Ridge.
The 26ft motor boat was located on a sand bank approximately 100m from the waters edge. A crew member walked to the vessel and stayed with the people on board until she refloated. She was then escorted to Bridgemarsh Marina and when the Lifeboat had made sure everyone on board was ok, the crew then returned to station.
