Tom Moquet, Former Assistant Manager of O’Neills Bar in Cannon Street, London collected £150.51 from customers on St Patricks Day for Burnham on Crouch Lifeboat Station.

Tom, whose mother is a member of the Lifeboat Guild at Burnham and step father is a Shore Crew member at the station, said ‘there is an affinity in London with the Lifeboats due to the river and the other stations on it, so getting people to donate wasn’t too difficult!’

He jets off tomorrow (Monday) to Chicago for 4 years to begin a degree in Business and wanted to raise money for the station before leaving.
