Shout: 6 Dinghies Capsized By Line-Squall

By Claire Rawlinson | June 8, 2003

Launched 17:21, Rehoused 18:35

The Atlantic 75 was launched to assist a fleet of racing dinghies which had been knocked down by a line-squall.  The Lifeboat stayed on scene assisting the club rescue boat until all the crews and their dinghies were accounted for.

The Lifeboat brought one dinghy which had drifted further than the rest back to Burnham Yacht Harbour from where it was retrieved later by a grateful teenage owner.
