Shout: Broken Propellor On Outboard Motor

By James Dorey | June 7, 2000

Launched 18:06, Rehoused 18:43

The Lifeboat was launched to assist a speedboat with a disabled outboard motor. She had hit something in the water, broken two blades off the propellor and sheered the hub drive.

The Lifeboat crew took the 3 people from the casualty vessel onto the Lifeboat and towed their boat to Essex Marina from where they were able to get a lift to Paglesham to retrieve their car and trailer.
