Both boats launched following a report of what looked like a floating dead body in Raypits Reach.

As the LBs were proceeding, a yacht reported sighting a large log covered in seaweed to the West of Bridgemarsh Island.

A police RIB checked out the floating debris, and on their being satisfied that this was the ‘body’ all units were stood down.
