A 75 launched to assist a cockle dredging boat which was anchored near the NE Maplin buoy with an engine breakdown.

The Lifeboat was stood down and returned to station when the Sheerness all-weather Lifeboat arrived on scene and discovered that there was sufficient water for them to approach the casualty and take her in tow.
