Shout: Machinery Failure In Adverse Conditions
By Claire Rawlinson | December 10, 2003
Launched 16:35, Rehoused 17:45
A 75 launched to assist a 19′ Orkney Fisher with two adults and a 10 year old child on board. A heavy fog had come down while they were fishing and they were unable to start their outboard to return home.
The Lifeboat, with four crew on account of the poor visibility, found them about a mile to the east of Burnham and towed them to their berth at Essex Marina on Wallasea Island.
