The Lifeboat was launched in response to a report that a 20 stone man had fallen into the water while transferring gear from a boat to the pontoon at Essex Marina, Wallasea. 

When the crew arrived on the scene they found that he had already been rescued by other people on the pontoon and after checking that no medical assistance was required, they returned to station.
