Shout: Person Injured
By Claire Rawlinson | August 24, 2003
Launched 14:13 to attend earlier incidents, Rehoused 16:10
The Lifeboat was returning to station from attending to two boats aground on the Buxey Sands when they were asked to attend a lady with a possible back injury after falling on the pontoon at Wallasea Marina. An ambulance was also on its way and Rescue Helicopter 125 was on standby.
After much discussion as to the best place to hand over a stretcher case to the ambulance crew, the casualty was found to have damaged a finger and was capable of walking to the ambulance unassisted.
