Both Lifeboats were launched to assist a RIB at Pagelsham Reach who had suffered a suspected puncture in the sponson. The Coastguard had also reported that the gentleman – assisted by his dog, was feeling unwell.

When the boats arrived they found the RIB drifting. They secured a tow and took the man back to Pagelsham.
