Launched 14:22, Rehoused 17:00
The Atlantic 75 launched to assist a 23′ bildge keeler that had run aground and was pounding between the Ridge and Swallow Tail Buoys. The Lifeboat found the casualty aground to the south of the Ridge Buoy.
As the yacht’s crew were disorientated and unsure of their position or the way home, the Lifeboat towed them to their own mooring off Rice & Coles boatyard.
