stock10 Shout: StrandingThe Lifeboat crew were alongside the Royal Corinthian Yacht Club pontoon on a courtesy visit for a Sea Safety Day when news came to the club of a collision between two Dragons. One of the boats had a broken mast and the other had sunk.

When the Lifeboat arrived on scene they found all six of the crew safe and well and then went to assist a third Dragon who had also run aground.

The Lifeboat remained by the sunken Dragon, retrieved the gear and lowered the sails and assisted in pumping her dry.

They then stood by until the tide came in again sufficiently enough for her to refloat and then towed her back to the mooring off the Royal Corinthian Yacht Club.
