The IB1 Lifeboat was called upon to assist a Squib that had run aground on the Redwood Flats in the River Crouch.

When the Lifeboat reached the vessel, she had managed to float off.

A tow was secured and the Lifeboat towed her back to the moorings at the Royal Corinthian Yacht Club.
