stock11 Shout: Vessel AgroundLaunched from exercise, Rehoused, 11:40

The Atlantic 75 Lifeboat was launched from exercise following a telephone call to Burnham Lifeboat Station. A concerned member of the public had reported seeing a vessel in difficulty opposite Creeksea Sailing Club with four people on board.

Burnham Lifeboat offered to assist the vessel and returned from exercise at the Buxey buoys.

When the Lifeboat reached the casualty, they secured a tow and manoeuvred the vessel off the mud and returned to Burnham Yacht Harbour.

The Lifeboat was then refuelled and made ready for her next service.
