The Atlantic 75 was launched in response to a call from an angling boat in Barrow Deep. Although its crew knew of its position they did not know how to get home.

The Lifeboat located the vessel who requested to be taken to Brightlingsea.

This, however was not possible and the Coastguard asked that the boat be escorted to Burnham Yacht Harbour.
